Our core group of hikers at Woodgreen wouldn’t be scared off by a little bit of rain. We loaded up the van just after 10am and hit the road to explore Mountsberg Conservation area.
Everyone took a look at the map together and we made a rough plan on our direction. We detoured to check out the sugar bush and had to turn back because part of the trail was totally washed out but the flexibility and positivity of the group never waned.
Before leaving we explored the Raptor Centre and got to know some beautiful birds of prey, observed geese and ducks on the reservoir and went on a Buffalo hunt that yielded no Buffalo but a few horses instead.
See you next month, Woodgreen!
