What a beautiful day for our inaugural hike with Sistering! Everyone was eagerly awaiting our arrival and once we filled every seat in the 12-passenger van we made our way to Crawford Lake.
The trail was still snow covered but the sun shone on our group as we made our way to the Nassagaweya Lookout. We enjoyed our lunches overlooking the canyon and observing the soaring Turkey Vultures now returned from their winter migration.
Making our way to the take in the views of picturesque, Crawford Lake we shared stories, and filled the quiet woods with laughter. Many photos and endless snacks later we made our way to the Iroquoian village to explore the interactive longhouses and exhibits.
Thanks, Sistering! Looking forward to next time!
